ABOUT US
God planted the seed that there was a need for a spiritual retreat based on scriptural beliefs that would encourage us on to a deeper, stronger faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and God the Father. The first Higher Ground was held in late October of 2002. It was an immediate success. The Higher Ground Ministry is now up and running with Climbs for men, women, and church leaders.

THE CLIMB
A Higher Ground weekend is called a “Climb.” The Climb begins on Thursday evening and ends at noon on Sunday. In the course of a Climb you will receive challenging and relational teaching as well as opportunity to relate to the other climbers through discussion, singing, praying, and fun.
LOCATION
Mountain View Christian Camp provides the perfect setting for Higher Ground. A wonderful view of Sierra Blanca Mountain provides inspiration for each climb. We are located at Mountain View Christian Camp, 196 Airport Rd, Alto, NM 88312
