Each individual that participates in a Climb is referred to as a Climber. We like this figure because it has to do with our constant desire to be improving our life of service to Jesus and following Him where ever

MESSAGE FROM THE BOARD PRESIDENT
Higher Ground operates under the oversight and direction of a seven-member board. Members of the board come from various New Mexico and Texas Churches.
A climb places the climber in an environment devoted to spiritual growth and uses the combined experience of all the climbers to develop each persons’ faith.
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
– 1 Thessalonians 5:11
Throughout each climb, climbers experience a spiritual nourishment that will guide them and allow them to reflect upon the workings of the Spirit during their climb and how it can aide them in their everyday lives.
Be shepherds of God’s flock that is under your care, watching over them–not because you must, but because you are willing, as God wants you to be; not pursing dishonest gain, but eager to serve; – 1 Peter 5:2
Climbs are as unique as the individuals that experience them because every person’s spiritual journey is unique.
You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
